ex husbands debt

my wife's ex ran up a credit card while they were married that he agreed in the divorce to take responsibility for. It is in my wife's old married name, and he has not payed since february. what action can we take to get this off of our credit and will it cost more than the 2800 on the card?

You will have to sue him for enforcement of the marital settlement agreement
