Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am here on an immigration visa based on marriage. I am getting a divorce. I know my husband is still legally bound to support me for 10 years or until I become US citizen according to immigration law. Where can i find details of other divorce cases where the immigration law was used to assess alimony?

Timothy Finkenbinder Law Office of Timothy L. Finkenbinder, P.A.

The affidavit of support does not create a support obligation to you. It is an agreement by the petitioner to reimburse the government for any costs it incurs in supporting you. It is not enforceable in family court and is not an agreeement to provide support directly to you.
