Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Income for childsupport
Under FS 61.30, (2) (a), it lists many means of income, all, I beleive, are taxable incomes. My question: is non-taxable, non-permanent income, such as overseas gov't allowances, included in that reference?

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.
All income, regardless of the source, is usually included for the purposes of determining the net income of a party. I am not exactly sure what kind of income you are referring to, however, it will probably be included in determining the child support obligation.

The court will usually want to see net income, which is gross income minus deductions, such as taxes. Depending on how periodic these payments are, they may well be factored into the computations. This is obviously an issue that is factually sensitive. You should consider consulting an attorney.

Mr. Ruiz is correct. You need a legal opinion on this, and those are beyond the scope of this website. I'm sure both Mr. Ruiz and I can provide you with what you need.
