Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Income Deduction Order for CS & Wage Garnishments

What is the difference? If I am a licensed insurance agent, would an income deduction order look negative if I should want to apply with a different company? Would a IDO be considered wage garnishments?

No. A wage garnishment is different. That means you have had a judgement levied against you and someone is collecting against you. IDO is not uncommon. Companies see it every day. You will not be the only one. They are not allowed to take negative action against you for having an IDO.
