Insurance Settlement from Medical Malpractice case

I would like to know if a former spouse can sue you for money you received in a medical malpractice case?

Yes: if the settlement represented an asset, even if contingent, and should have been part of the marital property and was not otherwise distributed as part of the Marital Settlement Agrement, if any, or the Final Judgment.
