Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Interstate custody modification

My ex was granted custody of our son seven years ago, and I was granted visitation on the weekends even though I live four states away. Now I find out that our son has been forced out of his room to allow another child from a relationship my ex is having to live in there. Our son has been sleeping on a couch for the last few years, and he only now told me about it. The new girlfriends children are allowed to taunt and tease our son with little done to prevent it. How should I go about changing the custody determination from the divorce? Do I even stand a chance? He is 11. Will his wishes be heard by the court? I live in Indiana, they live in Florida. Which state would take precedence, the one that the divorce took place in?

Re: Interstate custody modification

I think that the divorce court still has jurisdiction if you or the other parent still live there.
