intitlement for income
i,m 63 married for 24yrs my hub is a vet w/mental problems.i can't take any more .he gets (ssd) & 80% disability from the va.i haven't worked in 14 yrs.i only get 700.00 a month . after taking care of him 24 yrs am i going to have to live in a box . no children/no house

If you file, you may get alimony based on his income and impute minumum wage to you and the length of the marriage. If you are not disabled you probably can re-enter the workplace after he's out on his own.
With his disability, if he can care for himself you might be OK. If he can't care for himself, maybe, all you will get is your freedom.
