Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
JD Program
I am considering going to school for JD Program. Can anyone tell me what kind of law can be practiced upon completing jd program without sitting for the bar. Can things like divorces and such be done. In Fordia. Thanks in advance for any response.

Why would you go to law school and not sit for the bar? Sounds like a waste of time and money. Florida is very tough on the unlicensed practice of law, by the way. Although some "notaries" think they can handle immigration and divorces, they are really treading a fine line in my opinion.

In order to practice law in the state of FLORIDA you must be licensed by the Florida Bar, and you must sit for and pass the exam, as well as the background/fitness check.
The only exception that I know of is in-house counsel for a corporation. However, if I am not mistaken you must still be admitted to at least one jurisdiction within the United States.
One more piece of advice. If you are planning on being accepted for and completing a JD, you should learn to carefully proofread everything you write before you send it. Including emails.
