Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Joint Custody
My divorce degree says I have joint custody yet my ex-wife will not let me see my son on reasonably scheduled visits. I am a good father and he wants to see me, can she do this? What legal rights do I have?

Re: Joint Custody
A motion to compel/contempt should probably be filed against your ex. By obstructing your visitation, she is most likely in violation of the original court order.
You should schedule a formal consultation with a lawyer. A good means of obtaining an attorney referral is by contacting your State's bar association or your local county bar association. They probably have a web site and charge a nominal fee for the referral. Most attorneys either provide a free initial consultation, or charge a nominal fee. At no charge, I would be happy to meet with you.
