Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
joint custody
I had full custody of my daughter from birth until she was 18 months old. My fiance helped me during that time. Then the father decided to fight for custody because he did not want to pay child support. Me and my fiance are planning on moving out of state because of employment and I do not know what to do. I want my custody back of my daughter. Can you help me?

Re: joint custody
If the father is now the residential parent or has sole custody, it will be necessary for you to ask the court to change its previous order based on some substantial change in circumstances. You do not indicate what that change might be. The burden rests with you; therefore, you are advised to consult with a local family law attorney who can fully advise you of options.

The best advice you can get is to hire an attorney in your locale.
