Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have joint custody, want to move to Tampa florida but father objects. I have the opportunity to make more money and develop career wise. I have offered to bring children to over half the distance on weekends (4 hour drive). He is upset because I am getting remarried and feels threatened by my future husband. says that he wants to be with his children. Children want to be with mother. Relocation will allow children to be closer to family/open opportunites education wise. Is there an age that the children could say that they rather be with mother than father? I feel like he is trying to trap me by not allowing me not to take the children.

Circumstances in life always change. Apply to the court(Petition to relocate) for an Order to relocate based on what you have stated, more money, career opportunity, family closer. You will need to file a parenting plan as well as Petition to Modify Visitation.
