Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

June of 2009 I went to court to lower my child support. The Judge in Polk Co. Fl. Threw out my request. I represent myself could not afford a lawyer. He court ordered me to pay 1/2 of the X's attorney fees, almost $1,800 & gave me 6 months to pay. That ran out in January 2010. Her Lawyer has sent a request for the judge to enforce this court ordered attorney's fees.

My question is: Must there be a hearing before a Bench warrant can be issued, or can the Judge issued it at anytime he chooses?

Can I be extradited back to FL for theses fees?

Can I be arrested here in GA for a Bench Warrant that was sign in FL for those attorneys fees?

I want to come to FL see my son this month, but I afraid that I may be arrested wile I am there. As of this date according to the Polk Co. Sheriff Office there is no arrest Warrants showing for me.

Could be a writ of bodily attachment - I suggest you pay otherwise you will eventually get picked up and brought to court or sit in jail until you pay - it depends on what is filed against you.
