Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Once a kid is born is there anything that could protect a man or potential

father of the baby from paying child support. A girl I hooked up with

told me she would take the morning after pill and I never heard

from her until a month later when she told me she was pregnant because

she in fact lied to me about taking the pill. I feel it's somewhat unfair and am

unsure of where to go from here. Please help

You will be responsible for child support if she chooses to push the issue. The fact that you are not married will play into it and she will need to sue you for paternity and prove that you are the father. She may not do anything, or even put your name on the birth certificate.
