Question
I was divorced in 2002, we agreed to joint custody. My ex husband moved to Tennessee 8 years ago. I got a letter in the mail from his attorney yesterday stating he was trying to get custody of our 11 year old. My ex was convicted in 2003 of posetion of crack cocaine. He live with his parents and is brother who was convicted of non-capital murder in 2006 and DUI. If my children are not in school they stay with his family in Tennessee. My 11 year old is left unsupervised while with them. He went on the internet and was watching a video on how to make a bomb. What do I need to do? What do I need to provide to the courts. I believe that my sons well being is in jeopardy living in this home. What should I be doing? What do you think the outcome of this case will be?

Yes my children live with me in Florida and always have. They visit their father who moved to Tennessee in 2003. They spend the entire summer there, they leave on Christmas day and come back the day before school starts and they spend spring break there also. The child has resided with me for the past 8 years, he will be 12 in a month. I would really appreciate any advice you can give me.
Thanks,
Susan
