Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Why can't my lawyer give me an estimated cost for my remaining legal fees.? I am about to sign the marital agreement but because most of the settlement money is going to the lawyer , I do not want to agree until I know more. My husband left me for someone else, but because it was a short term marriage I don't seem to have much rights. If I sign I will lose the home, boat that is in both my names.

If you are about to conclude the case by entering a Marital Settlement Agreement, your attorney should be able to give you a good faith estimate of his/her attorney fees and costs.

Contact me to schedule a no obligation office consultation. While telephone calls, and email responses, are encouraged, please do not send text messages.

Sincerely, Elliot Goldstein

Looks to me you are not getting anything. I would reevaluate my settlement with another attorney. If he can't give you a print out of what he has done or will do, contact the Bar and report this matter.
