Do I need a Lawyer

If we are trying to seek a support order through the Dept of Revenue, and the State provides the legal assistance, what services would a private attorney be able to provide?

It depends on where you are in the proceeding. The Dept of Revenue often does a good job of getting child support, or enforcing child support orders. If you are satisfied with the Department, then there is no reason to have a private attorney.

If however, your phone calls are not being answered and you are not being consulted, you may wish to pay a little extra to have someone who has the time for you.
