do i need a lawyer

my sons father got a lawyer for our child support case. i want to know why and if i need a lawyer also

If you are seeking child support through the Florida Department of Revenue, they will supply a lawyer for you for free. Beware, though, that when it comes to free, you often get what you pay for, so you may want to consider hiring your own lawyer.

If you are not going through the Department of Revenue, you probably don't want to face a lawyer on your own, so hiring a lawyer is probably a good idea.
