how can i leave the house at 16 in florida.my mom is an unfit mother and i can prove that. my friends parents offered to take me in there home but because i am 16 i dont know what choice i have. my mom doesent aprove of me leave cause she just wants to collect my child support from my dad which i never see a dime of. hell i cant even choose my own cereal. but any way how can i leave at 16. ps. thats not the reason i want to leave the house because i cant choose my cereal. just wanted to throw that in there.

contact your father and move in with him. Have him petition the court for custody and have you testify to your condition at home. Once he has full custody of you, if you still want to live with your neighbor then they can work out an agreement that meets with approval of the court such as - staying in your school district so you can graduate with your class - he can pay them something for your room and board.
