Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

He won't leave the house

My ex and I signed a settlement/custody/child support/property agreement which states he and his belongings have to be out of my house by 4/15/09. My attorney created the agreement and it will be ratified by the court. Everything that has to do with the house is in my name, we were never married and have 2 children together. Now he is saying, he's not going to leave even though he signed the agreement. Is it in my legal right to change the locks on April 16th? Ofcourse, I will let him back in to get his stuff if he has not removed them. But only when I'm there since I will not be giving him a key once the locks are changed.

Yes, you may change the locks on April 16. If he still won't leave (though I don't know how he'll get in without a key), you'll have to evict him.
