Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Looking for Legal advise

I'm legally divorced since Feb 14th 2006 in Orange County. There is a vehicle under both my ex-husband and I names witch has been repossessed on June 2007. The Judge honored the Marital Agreement Settlement where states:''the Husband shall assume, fully pay and hold the Wife absolutely harmless as to the automobile account owed...'' The vehicle was never in my possession. He filed bankruptcy since January of 2007. I did not know about it until last week. He also owes money to the IRS for the year of 2004. I am trying to do the ''Innocent Spouse Relief'' at the moment of this request for help.

It must be a way that I can protect myself. I need help please.

I will prefer a lawyer who speaks Spanish as well since my primary language is Spanish.

You have to take these things separately. (1) You say that you are dealing with the IRS issue. (2) the bankruptcy should not affect you since it occured after the divorce. (3) You may have something on your credit report because of the vehicle. You have to check on that. If you do, you will simply have to write to the credit companies with an explanation and a copy of your divorce agreement.
