What is the legal age limit for a child to pick which parent he/she wants to reside with if not specifically named in the divorce?

There is no such right. The court will always take the child's comments and preferences into account and, as a practical matter, the older the child is the weightier the preference -- but, in the end, it is up to the judge, not the child.
