Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
legal guardianship
My fiance has a 15 yr old son who is a real handfull . He was chased out of my house by the police because of a pot problem . He was growing it in his room and someone called the police . He moved into his dad's home in new jersey but it is not working for him there . My fiance has a friend in florida that really likes him and has agreed to take him but we don't know what would be considered a legal paper giving him guardianship . There are no warrants out for him but the police said they might file some on him if he returns here so we haven't got much recourse but to send him away . He will be 16 on april 7 of this year . He is only 15 , but he's 6ft 2 and 235 lbs . He has also assaulted his 10 yr old sister who lives with me and his mother. Can My fiance write out a paper giving her friend in florida guardianship if she has it notorized ? His father could care less about his son saying the best thing for his son would be a bullet in his brain .

Re: legal guardianship
Yes, there are documents that can be signed that give guardianship rights for this situation. I would make sur eit was legal in Florida if that is where he is going to stay.
