Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hello, have been legally married for a little over two years, separated for the past five months and currently taking care of all our debts. We accrued lots of debts from credit cards and loans under my name because he didnt have the credit to do it under his name. Now, he moved out and Im stock paying all the payments. Can I request as part of my divorce process to for him to pay half of the debt even if is under my name? We were planning for a future together, and to eventually pay off our debt now Im doing it all alone. We don t have any kids or properties. Please advice.

Not only can you request that he be ordered to pay half the debt, it's the law. Marital debts are generally split evenly in a divorce, regardless of whose name they are in.
