Lied to me about being the father
I have a situation in which a female has lied to me, saying that I was the father of a set of twins she had. She convinced me that they were mine and there was never a court order for me to send her money. I sent her money because I thought that perhaps she was telling the truth. She said she was 100% sure they were mine because she hadn't slept with any man for 2 months before me. Recently, I was forced to take a DNA test initiated by her to determine if I was the father and it came back negative. Anyways, I sent her roughly $6,000 over 8 months. I have record of receipts and text messages of most of the communication between us. I even have a paper she typed up that she wanted me to sign saying that I am the father. I never signed it. Can I sue her and get my money back and sue her with punitive damages for the stress she caused me and ruining my credit? Also, I felt harassed because she would use different phone numbers to contact me when I would block her phone number from my phone. She has been receiving welfare and I am assuming she hasn't reported the money I sent her to the IRS so do you believe I could possibly win a case against her?

Move on with your life.
When you sleep with someone you assume the risk of pregnancy. And when you choose to pay support without a test (you could have forced one at any time), that is your negligence in not seeking it. You learned a $6000 lesson in both safe sex and in seeing a lawyer the moment a paternity issue comes up.

Child support is not reported to the IRS.
