Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I live in florida, I was 17 when I had my daughter and I had no shelter, no transportation, and no income. So I believed at the time the most responsible thing to do was place her with my mother. Fast forward 5 years. My mother, stepdad, youngest sister and my daughter have been living in a hotel for over a year. My mother is on disability and my stepdad does not have a legitimate job. I want my daughter to come live with me. I am no longer in the situation i was in when she started staying with my mom. My mother refuses to let her live with me. She does not have legal papers statimg custody. What are my rights in this issue and what can i do to resolve this custody conflict?

See a local attorney ASAP but you may be able to pick her up from Mom. A natural parents rights supersede all others including a grandparent.
You are the child's mother you will win no problem. Hire a lawyer.
Go get your daughter. Since your mother is on disability and step dad not working, no problem for you. Plus this is your daughter and there are no papers. If your mother files an action in court, you will more than likely win assuming you have a job and a home to provide for this child and can enroll her in school and parent her like she should be.
