Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I live in Florida. I left my husband a few days ago, and I have not decided on divorce. Can I file for child support without filing for divorce?

Yes, you can file for a Temporary Needs Hearing for Child Support.
You can pursue it separately. However, if the marriage is over, it wouldn't make sense to do so. If a divorce will be filed, pursing child support separately would result in much duplication of attorney work and costs.
If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.
