Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in Florida, my ex lives in Nebraska and we were married in South Dakota. Neither one of us wants to contest anything and we have no shared assets and no children under 27. Is there a way to get a divorce and pay later or maybe make payments? Also we have not been together since 19.87

If one of you wish to waive your rights you could have a divorce filed in Florida or in Nebraska. If you do your divorce in Florida, you can obtain the papers at the court house and file it yourself.

The majority of attorneys will accept a payment plan; just ask.

If this is an uncontested DOM (Both sides agree) it can be fast and relatively cheap. If there is a dispute then slow and expensive.

You Can file in FL if you want. Some attorneys (like myself) offer payment plans.
