Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in Florida and am the non-custodial parent of two girls.One is 15 and the other just turned 18. Both are in high school. Do I legally have to keep paying child support for the 18 year old?

It depends on where the Final Judgment was entered. Florida courts normally spell out when your obligations stops in the Final Judgment. Usually it is upon the childs graduation from high school or 19th birth day; other states have different rules.

Mr. McCall is correct. Read your dissolution of divorce and see what it states. More than likely you will continue to pay until she graduates from highschool. If she is not a senior this year then you will continue until l9th birthday.
