Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in Florida (okaloosa County). I was married and divorced here and my 2 minor children ages 13 and 11 have lived here all their lives. Myex remarried and moved to Mobile Alabama about a year ago. He sees the kids every other weekend. Can he stop me from moving out of the state (north carolina), even though he lives in another state?

You need to either have his permission to move to another state or a court order. You cannot just move. Alternate visitation arrangements need to be made. Look for forms at flcourts.org for getting permission to move from the court.
