Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in florida and I may need to relocate within the state. What is the law pertaining to relocation in florida. I am the custodial parent and would have to move for financial reasons. I would need help from my parents financially and they live in another city in florida.

Petition the court to get a relocation order. With what you have stated, there should be no problem.

You are allowed to relocate children no more than 50 miles from their current address. If you seek to move them further, then you should seek the help from a family law attorney because you have to file a petition with the court in most circumstances. It's difficult to get permission from a judge to relocate children, even if you must relocate for financial reasons.
