Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in Florida, I have shared custody with my ex, but right now the children live with him full time. There is no child support agreement. He wants $400 for camp fees or I can not pick them up tonight for the weekend. This is my agreed upon weekend to have the children. Is this legal? Does he have the right to withold the children from me if I do not give him $400?

So long as you have a court-ordered timesharing schedule that reflects that weekend schedule, he needs to comply whether or not you pay him $400. if he refuses to comply, you can get police escorts and present your court order.
