Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in florida and my ex took my son to Idaho where she was only supposed to stay for 3 months. I kept asking when she was coming back and she kept giving me future dates. I finally got tired of it and filed custody papers in FL. but now they say it is over 6 months and I may not have jurisdiction. I filed a motion to default because she did not respond to court documents. Now she has a lawyer and is asking the court to set aside default and dismiss. What can I do now????

Get an Idaho attonrey - since you are suing her you would normally have to sue where the Defendants are anyways. So file custody, visitation etc. in Idaho. Have the attorney show to the court that the spouse left the state of Florida taking your child without a court order.
