Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Live in florida.I have been married over 21 years. Several children, have worked sporadically based on children's schedule never have made more than $3000/yr since having children. Very little work experience. Spouse has own company salary varies has been between $75k to $350k. Now lower end all though since he has been talking divorce 4 yrs it may be on purpose. our bills have always been 5-6K. Am I entitled to alimony? Is there an alimony calculator? Currently bringing home 4k says he will need at least 2k to live leaving 2k for both alimony and child support.I have been looking 4 work, no luck plus my children rely on me a lot, I am mid-40's. He has not petitioned yet, i think he wants 2 wait until his assets are hidden. I know he has 1 acct in only his name but dont know the info. I haven't petitioned bcuz its against my religion. Advise on acceptable alimony please.

With the length of your marriage, there is a presumption of an entitlement to alimony. It sounds like you have a strong case.
The delay in filing probably is serving to give him more time to hide assets.
If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.
Depending upon the parties' comparative financial resources, the Court has discretion to hold one party responsible for the other's attorney fees and costs.
