Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Currently I live in McLennan County, Texas [76705], while I have a child support order in Seminole County, Florida [32773]. I recently received notice of a warrant on myself for nonpayment of child support. I'm a stay at home parent of 3 children in a single income household. We can't endure the financial burden of placing one of them in child care, let alone all three. Hence me not paying, a fact my divorced spouse understands. Do I have an option other than turning myself in, being extradited back to Florida, and causing that sort of detrimental financial problem for my family?

Contact a lawyer in Seminole County. You may be able to set up a payment plan and avoid having to go to jail or you may be able to pay a purge amount (kind of like bail, but it goes toward child support) instead of going to jail.
