Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I live in Michigan and got a girl pregnant in Florida. When my daughter was 12 she wanted to live with me but didn't have the heart to tell a judge that she preferred living with me over her mother, now my daughter is 16 and cannot do another 2.5 years with a person she does not respect. When the girl's ex boyfriend tried to go for custody of his 2 children by her she fled the state and cut off communication for months to avoid being served. How do I go for physical custody of my daughter without spooking her mother.

1. Have your daughter move to Michigan.
2. Start custody proceedings in Michigan.

File for full custody. The mother will be irritated no matter what but file anyway otherwise the child will not live with you.
