Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i live in orlando, went to ny and got married, baby was born in orlando, i lost my job moved to ny my wife left me so i moved back to orlando she has our baby and lives in ny, i need to know my rights and what i can do to get a divorce and have custody of our baby. i call to talk to my daughter almost everyday and get turned down by her mom and i currently have minimal contact. We had a verbal agreement but now she completely back out. what can i do to have my daughter in my life?

You will need to hire an attorney in NY because the state where the child resides has jurisdiction. You can obtain your divorce in Florida but it will be cheaper to have everything done by one attorney in NY instead of doing the divorce here and filing a petition for custody there.
