Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have live in partner of just over two years. Things are not going well and we may be splitting up. She has very little money because she spent what savings she had. I have financed much of her purchases as well as payed her 2009 income tax. These amount to a little over $7000.00. If she decides to leave what expectations should I have of recovering this money. She has spent money on a bedroom set which was over $4000.00 and that she will want to take with her. What do you think my options are?

Your not married so no divorce. In order to recover the money you would have to sue her.
