Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Hello. I live in South Florida. Divorcing my husband by mutual agreement. He is rushing me to sign papers he printed of internet and go to court and file together. I don’t work at the moment , has been looking for a job since March , I am an experienced IT professional. We sold our house due to my job loss and now renting. I have a 10 year old daughter who’s not his child and who sees her father every other weekend. My husband has a car on his name almost paid off, he doesn’t want me to have it. All health insurance provided by him , he is a police officer . My question is: can he kick me out of appartment and take the car away after I sign the papers and remove me and my child off his insurance ? We were married since 2013 is there anyway I can ask for alimony as well considering I Im out of work?

You really need to see a Family Law attorney. Impossible to evaluate "the papers" without reviewing them.
I believe you need to see a Family Law attorney. For one thing, he is not responsible for your child. Your child's father should be paying for insurance for her and if not, you need to apply for Medicaid if you can not pay for insurance for her. Secondly, you have a short term marriage. I do not believe you would be entitled to alimony unless you used some funds to relocate, gave up your job or some other substantial matter that would allow you the possibility of being reimbursed for that amount . As to the car, if you paid any funds or used your credit to get the vehicle, possibly would have some leeway on the car issue. He could purchase one for you.
