i live in the state of florida and my boyfriend and I want to get married but he has a child in the state of Puerto Rico and he owe child support how can I avoid from paying it we are expecting a child now?

1. Puerto Rico is not a state.

2. A wife is not responsible for paying child support obligations of the husband.

3. The father will pay child support or go to jail; if you file joint federal tax returns any refurn may be seized.
