Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in the state of Florida. My son was not married to the mother of his son..his name is on the birth certificate and he has been the sole provider for the mother and the baby (he is five months old) The mother had an affair and they split up. She is moving into a three bedroom trailer with 6 children, ages ranging from three to six and five adults. The mother of four of the children was just arrested for less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (felony) and paraphanila. She was released on pre trial. Her boyfriend is still in jail on the same charges, as well as violation of probation (for another drug charge) but if he gets out, he will also move into this trailer. What are my sons rights? Can he possible get custody? he has never been in trouble and provides. He works 40 hours a week at the same job for four years.

It sounds likely, based on what you've said, that your son will get majority timeshare ("custody"). To get that, he needs to file a paternity lawsuit. It would be a very good idea to retain a local lawyer to assist him. Let me know if I can help with a free consultation.
