Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have lived with my fiance for two years I moved from Az to Floirda and I assisted him in his business daily with 135 employees. Raised his two kids from a previous marriage. When we met he was in the process of a divorce and was so depressed he could hardly walk. I was the lead contact for both his attorney and forensic accountant. I complied all paperwork, financials, writing related to a divorce that took nearly 18 mos and there were 40 boxes at the final hearing. We moved into a house that was completely empty 4400 sqft. We chose some furnishing together and other items but I completely accessorized the home. I pay all the household expenses and he has not s much as purchased his own pair of underwear in two years. I want to take half the furnishing am I legally entitled to take half the furnishins.

In other words, you've made no money and paid for nothing, but you want to take the half the stuff. In a divorce, that would work. In a living-together situation, it doesn't. You take what you paid for, he takes what he paid for. And "paid for" doesn't mean "written the checks for" or "used his credit card for," it means "spent your own money on."
Living with someone is usually a bad idea, legally.
