Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have lived together with my girlfriend for 8 years. We never got married. Five years ago we had a house built together. It's in her name as at the time her credit was better than mine. 2-1/2 years ago we had a child. Now she is threatening to end the "relationship" and kick me out without notice. Do I have any rights here?

Thank you.

There is no common law marriage in Florida. If you can prove that your income paid for the building of the house then yes you have some rights but only after going to court to prove same. YOu would have equity in the house that could be divided equitably.
