Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i have lived with my husband for since 2008 and we have been married twice once in 2010 and in 2008. He recently moved out. I have a child with autism who he has been fully supporting and has even tried to adopt. I cannot work although I have several advanced degrees because my child goes to a special school far away, and then receives therapy for her autism after school daily. My husband has been raising my daughter since she was three(will be ten in May), supporting her both financially and emotionally etc, and my daughter had no relationship with her biological father ever. Her biological father has been in and out of jail since he was 17, he will be 35, and has made no attempt to support her financially or see my child. What are my chances of getting any type of monetary support?

Question is unclear. If the child was born during the marriage then it is the legal child of your husband and the biological father has no rights. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659

If the child was born before the marriage and he never adopted the child then he is not responsible for supporting the child.

There is a limited exception which would apply if he held himself out as the father of the child in certain situations. This requires legal analysis. Contact a family law attorney in your area for a consultation.
