Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I've been and lived with a man for 15 years which we have two children we are not married he says it because he not ever going to pay me alimony ages 14 and 12. Everything we have he owns. I'm not even insured on the car I drive the kids to school and practices. I'm with my kids in the morning when I get them ready for school and in the afternoon when I pick them up and take them to their practices. I feed them and care for them. They are my whole life. Their father knows this and threatened to keep them from me and knows I have no money to have a place of my own.i just want my children to be happy and not be in a home with parents that argue He often makes me sleep in the car or leaves me outside. He doesn't ever want to pay me child support so I think that's what keeps me here. I would really love to have a job I went to school for medical assisting but he says I can't work because of the puppy we just got I dont want my children to think I'm just a weak women I never wanted that I just want them to live comfortably with me. He reminds me of the 115,000 he makes a year plus bonuses often and tells me I'm nothing without him. I just don't know what to do other than ripping my kids from their home while it takes me months to give them even a quarter of what they deserve.please help me
