Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am currently living with my significant other. We were engaged in NY for 8 years, but he never followed thru on his promise to marry. I left him but we continued to see each other until I moved to FL in 2011. One year later he followed me down here with the promise of marraige, a house, & financial support. Now he says he isn't going to marry me or put 1/2 the houuse in my name or provide for me in any way. Many witnesses heard him promise these things. We were together a total of 15 years. I am on disability and cannot afford to leave with nothing AGAIN. I also declared bankruptcy on his advice as a condition to our getting married. This has caused untold mental anguish for me. Do I have any options? Please help.

Unfortunately you moved to a state that doesn't recognize common law marriage and you legally have no rights to the house or half of his income. It's best to cut your losses and move on.
