Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am in the a very long divorce case. My question would be can my husbands attorney use my boyfriends( a subpoena'd witness on their side) as evidence against me? He is not the petitioner or respondent in a court case here they simply called him as a witness. I do not know if they even subpoena the records or just told him to bring them. I would understand if they subpoena'd my text because I am them petitioner...but his?

Yes they can bring him in. You are probably being charged with adultry and although it will not be the result of the divorce in florida - it will have a lot to do with whether or not you receive alimony and how much.

Yes, he can bring in any witness. There could be an issue of the relevancy of that witness' testimony. In other words, his testimony must be relevant to an issue in the case. If my office can be of any assistance, please give us a call. Good luck. Tom Rosenblum
