Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
If a man dates an already pregnant woman and she gives birth and names him the father on the birth certificate and he signs it and a few months later she leaves him to get child support, if he can prove its not his child does he still have to play the child support? They were never married and she basically used him to get the money from him for the child since she new the real father wouldn't pay. Please help.

You can request DNA testing to prove the child is not yours. You will need to file a Paternity Action in the circuit court.

You may have to pay child support until you can establish that you are not the father. There will be no refund of the money paid.
