Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

mandate

on 2/5/02 the 2nd dis court of appeals reversed a no contact order between myself and my two sons stating it violated parental rights...i havent been able to see/speak to them in over a year..

on 3/4/02 after not recieving another motion from dcf...the appellate court then handed down the mandate to reverse the decision immediately..

is there a time frame that the court is bound by to get me back into court and put it on paper so i can see my children? its been over a month now after the mandate?

much appreciation,

a.lee

Re: mandate

The Court has no mandate as to when it ha to respond to motions or other actions. If you have not heard from the Court call and find out what the delay is, but do not be a pest as you do not want to aggrivate the Court.
