Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

In March, my grandmother passed away. Both her and my grandfather have a trust and separate portfolios. My grandfather does not want to be awarded her portfolios in any way. He wants them to be awarded out the family. Can "withdraw" his name from probate?

He can disclaim his interest in the property. See Chapter 739, Florida Statutes for more information.
