Marriage in the Bahamas
I was told that my marriage in Nassau, Bahamas was not recognized in Florida as valid. We never filed any papers in Florida. Can you give me an opinion? Thanks.

If proper procedures were following in the Bahamas, your wedding is legal in Florida. You don't need to file anything. The burden of proof is on the person claiming that you are not married.
